Burnout Dimensions Assessment
Based on Maslach's foundational research, this assessment measures your current experience across the three clinically validated dimensions of burnout: Emotional Exhaustion, Depersonalization, and Personal Accomplishment. Results reflect current state, not permanent condition.
What is burnout?
Burnout is a syndrome resulting from chronic workplace stress that hasn't been successfully managed (WHO ICD-11). It is distinct from ordinary tiredness or temporary low motivation — it is a sustained state affecting energy, attitudes toward others, and sense of professional effectiveness.
Important framing
Burnout exists on a continuum. High scores reflect your current experience — they are not character flaws, signs of weakness, or permanent states. Recovery is possible and well-documented. This assessment is a starting point for awareness and action, not a diagnosis.

Important Context
Burnout is not a character flaw. High scores reflect environmental and situational pressures, not personal weakness or inadequacy. These results capture a current state, not a permanent condition.
The Personal Accomplishment dimension is reverse-scored: lower PA scores indicate higher burnout risk, because burnout erodes one's sense of effectiveness and meaning at work. A high PA score is a protective factor.
This assessment is adapted for developmental awareness and is not a clinical diagnostic instrument. If you are experiencing significant distress, please consult a qualified mental health professional.
